Hi!

Welcome to my life. All the travel, shoes, and social media info you can take. Enjoy!

A Week in Sydney

A Week in Sydney

Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach

Welcome to the third stop on our Australian tour! Our time in Sydney was JAM PACKED! Neither of us had been before, so it was fun to discover a new place together. I can’t believe it’s been a year since we were there and I miss it everyday. So many incredible things to do and never enough hours in the day. But, we’d rather be tired than miss out on an adventure!

Things to Do!

SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium

Stingrays, jellyfish, and sharks! Oh my! The aquarium was the first stop of many oddly animal related activities. Along with the regular tour, we did a glass bottom boat tour. We ere the only ones who showed up so it basically ended up being a private tour. Lucky us!

Sydney Opera House

I mean… come on, it’s ICONIC. Fun fact, the sails are actually 3 separate structures and 6 different venues!

Taronga Zoo

Take a ferry from Darling Harbour to the zoo and see all the animals!

Luna Park

FUN WORLD! Luna Park is a very cool vintage fun park. It’s free to walk around so let out your inner child and explore!

Bronte & Bondi Beach

Australia has the most pristine beaches I’ve ever seen. We took a bus from the city to Bronte Beach before taking a trail to Bondi. The trail between the two beaches is a must! The views of the ocean are stunning and worth the journey.

Stop by the shops and restaurants! Be sure to hit Between the Flags for Bondi Beach gear!

Walk the Sydney Harbour Bridge

We are true explores when we take a trip and the best way to explore a new place is to walk! You can also climb and walk across the top of the bridge, but walking across was just fine for us. Oh, and the view isn’t bad either.

Shop!

Sydney has so some of the best shopping. The large malls and luxury stores are great, but be sure to check out the arcades, and I’m not talking pinball. The Strand Arcade is unique in every way, from the specialty shops to the Victorian architecture.

And of course, sneaker shops! We didn’t get to hit them all, so I guess another trip is in our future but here are a few favorites!

Sneaker Boy
Sneaker Boy had us nervous! It’s an interesting walk to get there, so I won’t spoil it. A true sneaker boutique that includes luxury brands with a unique shopping experience. Try out their wide selection, but buy from an iPad and it gets shipped to your house. Leaving empty handed is weird, but that just frees up your hands for more shoes!

Culture Kings
Culture Kings Sydney is everything you want in a sneaker shop and a hangout spot. With a serious array of brands and shoes, along with on-site barbers and live DJ, why would you ever leave?

Secret Sneaker Store
Secret Sneaker plays off of reseller culture! With vacuum wrapped shoes and supreme gear, you’ll be in hypebeast heaven.

Where to Eat!

Mr. Wong

Mr. Wong was incredible! With a dim, intimate setting it’s perfect for date night. Be sure to make a reservation! Order literally anything. You won’t be disappointed.

Two Good Eggs Cafe

A perfect brunch spot away from the main streets of Sydney. It has a funky feel with a loads of pop culture decor. Can’t go wrong with any brunch food in my opinion.

Our Stay

The QT Hotel

The QT Hotel is a quirky stay with bold colors and fun patterns. Since it’s located right in the heart of Sydney, it’s easy to get around without getting an uber.

Bonus: Ring in the New Year first!

We were lucky enough to be there for New Years! There are several firework shows around the city at various times. So, even if you’re not a night owl you won’t miss the lights!
